Skin rarely changes in isolation. Alongside examination, prescriptions, and procedures, Lauren considers the contributing factors that shape skin health: hormones, stress, nutrition, medications, environment, and lifestyle, as well as laboratory findings when clinically appropriate.
Integrative care at NexDerm is not an alternative to conventional treatment. It is evidence-based dermatology applied with broader clinical context: recommendations may combine prescriptions, in-office procedures, and supportive measures (including supplements and guidance on hormones, nutrition, stress, and sleep), coordinated with your other clinicians.
Recommendations are individualized and clinically appropriate. A consultation is required to determine whether a treatment is right for you.
More than a decade of dermatology, one patient at a time
Lauren Riley is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner, Columbia University graduate, and dermatology provider with over ten years of experience in medical and aesthetic dermatology, plus thirteen years in medicine that began as a family practice nurse practitioner.
She completed the LearnSkin Integrative Dermatology Certificate Program and brings specific experience in caring for skin of color.
She founded NexDerm around a simple conviction: patients deserve a provider who knows them — one clinician for the consultation, the treatment, and every follow-up.
