Care that considers the whole person
NexDerm exists because skin health rarely fits into a seven-minute visit or a standardized treatment menu. This is a different model: medical, aesthetic, and integrative dermatology in one conversation, with one provider.
Why NexDerm exists
Most dermatologic care sits at one of two poles: high-volume practices with deep clinical capability but little time, and med-spa-style settings with polish but limited medical depth. NexDerm was founded to hold the middle ground properly, with the clinical rigor of medical dermatology, the judgment and technique of advanced aesthetics, and the patience to understand the person behind the skin.
Every consultation and treatment is personally performed by Lauren Riley, NP-c. Appointments are focused and attentive, recommendations are collaborative, and your plan may draw on medical, aesthetic, and integrative options together.
Three disciplines, one model
- Medical dermatologyThe clinical foundation: screening, diagnosis, and treatment of skin disease, with many major insurance plans accepted.
- Aesthetic dermatologyConservative, natural-result treatment chosen for skin quality and balance, never a one-size menu.
- Integrative perspectiveEvidence-based medicine applied with a fuller view of hormones, stress, nutrition, medications, environment, and lifestyle.
Broader context, not alternative medicine
Integrative care at NexDerm is not a replacement for conventional treatment. It is evidence-based dermatology practiced with more curiosity about contributing factors: laboratory findings when clinically appropriate, medication effects, life stage, stress, and daily habits.
A plan may combine prescriptions and in-office procedures with supportive changes, evidence-based supplements, and coordination with your primary-care clinician or specialists. Recommendations are individualized and clinically appropriate; nothing is added to a plan because it is fashionable.
Curated, not maximal
The treatment portfolio is deliberately selective. Every option is chosen for safety, evidence, and realistic benefit, and every plan aims for results that remain recognizably you. Where a treatment isn’t clinically appropriate, you’ll hear that plainly, along with the alternatives.
Natural enhancement begins with skin health, not augmentation. Individual results vary, and a consultation is required to determine whether a treatment is right for you.
